I am so excited to have my childhood friend, Missy, of The Penny Pinching Preppy, guest blogging today. She has fabulous taste and works as a interior designer in NYC! Today, she has created a designer bedroom look for less! Love it!
Here is an inexpensive version of a designer bedroom. I love that the look is preppy and bright without being too conservative or serious. It has a very young, fun vibe. You can create this whole look for under $600, maybe even less! The side tables I have shown are from West Elm, but I have purchased similar ones at Homegoods for $25! My DIY headboard is posted here only cost me $55. As far as the Rothko inspired art... go to your closest craft store and purchase two, $10 square canvases, tape them out in the shape you would like and paint them with fun colors! It's so simple!
