I absolutely LOVE ankle pants. I seriously would wear them all year round if I could, and I always push the seasons when I wear them. They are perfect and I love how they fit me, they are also easy to dress up or down and I always feel they create a polished look. I was thrilled to see that Banana Republic has an awesome pair of ankle pants out right now. I have to say they are just a tad long on me and the petite were too short but I think I am going to make the regular length work.
We are headed to Charlottesville, VA tomorrow to visit our good friends and I can't wait to wear my new pants. I bought the BR ankle pants in black and navy. I will be sure to take pictures. Does anyone out there share my obsession?

ReplyDeleteHave fun in Charlottesville - I live inbetween there and Richmond in horse country and you could not be arriving on a weekend with better weather planned. Well, tomorrow thunderstorms but Sat/Sun should be gorgeous. If you have a chance to shop, be sure to go to the Downtown Mall and check out Vintage Vixen, Caspari and a few of Summer is a Verb and my favorite shopping destinations - the pizza at Christian's is great but there are a lot of other tasty options!
ReplyDeleteI'm so with you on this one. I've barely warn a full length pant all winter (oops)! I think one of the reasons I'm so drawn to them is because I'm short. I've found a few pairs at Ann Taylor that are in my regular rotation.

ReplyDeleteI did buy the same size as I wear in J. Crew, I am 5'5 and I did feel the regular were a tad too long...but I am making them work!
DeleteI love these too! I love that I can wear them with either flats or heels and they look great either way. Gap just came out with colored khakis for the spring too, so I'm hoping those will work as well (maybe rolled?) Have fun in VA :)

ReplyDeleteI love the look of ankle pants. So cute! I think they look weird on me sometimes since I'm tall (like I can't find pants that are long enough) but I still love them and wear them anyway!
ReplyDeleteI think pretty much EVERY pair of pants I own is ankle length! I find them sooo pretty, and I love how they bring attention to shoes, which, let's be honest, we're all a bit obsessed with!
