Week in Pictures!

The summer is flying by and I just keep moving! Last weekend, I was on Fire Island to celebrate one of my besties and party for her bachelorette weekend, it was so fun. I jetted off to Nantucket on Monday morning, it was so nice to relax and live the island life for a few days! I am back in Boston until Monday and then I am off to Maine...I really can't believe it is almost August already.

Rehearsal Dinner!

The day before the wedding was fabulous, I had a great time with my girls at the bridal luncheon and I knew the rehearsal dinner would be a blast. The evening started with the rehearsal at Church, I have to say I was more emotional than I thought I would be, I was tearing up when I practiced walking down the aisle with my Dad, looking at MMB. I think it really hit me, I AM GETTING MARRIED!!! The church rehearsal went smoothly and then it was time to board our party bus and head to the rehearsal dinner! The RD was held at one of our favorite restaurants in the Hamptons, it's right on the water and serves awesome Caribbean inspired food. MMB ran with the island and got a steel drum band! I have to say MMB and his Mom did a wonderful job planning a fabulous evening for our friends and family. We actually had to put a tent up in back of the restaurant because we had too many people but that was fine with us because we were right on the water! It was a great night and I can't wait to see our photographers pictures of the RD but for now here are some of our pics!

Bridal Luncheon!

Our wedding weekend officially started Thursday night with the Welcome Party. On Friday, the guys played golf at the club and my Mom hosted a bridal luncheon at the club for my bridesmaids and some friends. We all had such a wonderful time and it was nice to be with just the girls... we actually had such a good time, we were there all afternoon and I almost missed my hair appointment for the rehearsal dinner!

Wedding Invitations!

Well I am finally taking the plunge and attempting to do a full wedding recap. I didn't know where to start but I received a lot of emails asking to see pictures of my invitations, and really what better place to start the recap!
As many of you know, I simply LOVE paper actually most might say I am obsessed with paper but that is another story. From the very beginning, I would say one of my favorite parts of wedding planning was picking out all of the invitations. From the engagement party invites to our thank you notes, I simply had a blast. Of course the biggy was the invitation suite, I spent lots of time putting together the suite based on invitations I had seen and inspiration pics, and I just loved how they turned out. They were letter-pressed and done on William Arthur paper. I took the pics below myself but I can't wait to see our photographers pictures of the invitations.

I loved our reception card because of the line
"dinner and dancing under the stars"!
I thought it was so fun and different
and appropriate since we had our reception in our backyard!

We're back!

We arrived home last night from our amazing Italian honeymoon, it was beyond fabulous. I am going to be busy today unpacking and getting started on a couple hundred thank you notes but I wanted to share two fabulous "teaser" pictures our photographer sent us.

Right after Church!
