It's our wedding month! I am so excited and still have tons to do...ahhh! Can't believe in just 24 days I will be marrying MMB! I have my hair trial this week and I have been obsessing over it. I just can't decide what to do. I think I have come to the conclusion that I will be wearing my hair up, if I wear it down I think it will just fall flat by the reception. My stylist wants me to bring lots of pictures to make sure she has a good idea of what I am looking for...As I was going through my inspiration pics, I noticed I seem to have a constant theme going on in terms of what I would like the back to look like...now if I could just figure out the front! I would love to hear what you think or how you wore your hair to your wedding.

Love this style
but I think it would look to severe on my round face!

Maybe a bit too messy?

Pretty!

Not sure if it is a little too far off to the side!

Love!

Beautiful, wish I could see a picture from the front.

My hair dresser says to not go with anything on the side for two reasons. One it could be out style eventually and two because you want to be picture perfect from both sides and this may show a "bad side." You know what I mean?! I'm sure whatever you go with, you'll be gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteMy wedding hair looked like that last picture. I didn't wear a veil(b/c i felt stupid). I'll email you a picture from the front but keep in mind I have sweepy bangs.
ReplyDeleteI too did not want to wear my hair down even though I grew it out long.
It would have fell flat and looked terrible too.
I really like Pretty and the last one. You have such beautiful eyes that I feel the simpler the better in front. Maybe a little height but that's it...a wisp or two. You will look fabulous...don't you worry!
ReplyDeleteMy wedding hairstyle kind of looked like the 4th picture, but it was centered (I don't like the "on the side" look either) and it was a bit higher on my neck. It stayed perfect the entire night; not a hair out of place! My hair was long when I was married, but I too did not want to wear my hair down for fear of flatness (which I've seen happen many times at weddings!)
ReplyDeleteI do not like the SJP pic. sorry. but i LOVE the others! you go girl
ReplyDeleteMy wedding day hair looked almost exactly like the last picture, but I had it pinned a bit higher up for extra volume when looking at me straight on. I also wore a tiara instead of a veil; this style was very pretty! I, also, have a rounder face, and it really worked for me! I kept my front simple, with my longer bangs sideswept and pinned to the right, and one looser wisp on the left.
ReplyDeleteIt's tricky - you need something soft and pretty, yet durable. Good luck, and enjoy this fun, special time! :)
ReplyDeleteSaw you in NYT today! Congrats :)
