Bridesmaids Shoe!

I know I am the annoying bride-to-be out here, but I really wanted all of my bridesmaids to wear the same shoe. I don't care what they switch into once we are done with pictures but during the ceremony and photos, I really wanted a unified look. My bridesmaids dresses by LulaKate were on the pricier side, so I was really hoping to find a simple gold sandal that was under $50. I found them! They are by Kelly & Katie and we ordered them through the DSW website. Best part is, they were only $39.95 and we scored free shipping. Yay! I would encourage all brides-to-be out there, to check out DSW, great options for bridesmaid shoes.

  1. I was the same way. The girls all had the same dress, shoe, hosiery etc.

  2. The shoes were the hardest for me. Since they had to pay for the dresses (which were pricey!), I took care of the shoes for them. Even so, adding up all those shoes and then the gifts for each of them-- I was shocked at how quickly it added up. This are great shoes. The ones my girls wore were pointy toe with a large bow on them. So cute.

  3. I completely agree! I have seen so many pictures where bridesmaids are all wearing different shoes (even in the same color) and it just takes away from the perfect-ness of the picture. I'm sure I will do the same thing when my time comes, and I will definitely remember to check out DSW. Those shoes are perfect (and I love the bridesmaids dress you chose!)

  5. Very cute choice! I think my mom might wear those in silver with her light purple dress.

  7. Don't worry the annoying bride is one who makes their bridesmaids wear identical died-to-match shoes when the bridesmaid dresses are floor-length and the shoes do not show at all! (Yes that happened to me as a bridesmaid.)

  8. I love the Meredith dress from Lula Kate! I found another option on etsy that I fell in love with that was cheaper. I also asked my girls to buy shoes. Surprisingly, the Payless dyeable shoes look great in person and are inexpensive. The dresses are navy and the shoes are yellow.

  9. Love it! They look like Manolos...I did the same thing dresses, shoes and stockings matched ( well it was the 80's !) I think it makes for a unified look for the pictures and would do it again even today. Good job!
