I HEART Long Weekends!

MMB and I had a very busy weekend. Saturday we had Pre-Cana, Saturday night we went out with friends, and Sunday we headed to Nantucket to enjoy the rest of the long weekend.

MMB and I completed our Pre-Cana classes this past Saturday. It was actually a one day class at the Paulist Center in Boston. Although MMB was a little hesitant about the class, we actually found it to be quite enjoyable. The session was very couple centered and was lead by a couple who had been married for 34 years! The questions up for discussion covered a wide range of topics. All in all, we found it very interesting to sit down with other couples and discuss issues that are important to us.

Saturday night, MMB and I headed out with some friends in Charlestown. I actually had never been to Charlestown since moving to Boston until this weekend, we had a great time!

We finished off the long weekend with a quick trip down to Nantucket. It is so beautiful on the island in the fall. It was perfectly relaxing and we were lucky enough to have a wonderful dinner at the Ships Inn for the last seating of the season!
