Daffodil Weekend on Nantucket!

From early-April to mid-May, millions of daffodils of every color, shape and size bloom on Nantucket. With Spring, comes the Annual Daffodil Festival on Nantucket. My favorite weekend highlights include the Annual Window Decorating Contest, the Antique Car Parade, the Annual Daffy Hat Pageant
and of course the Daffodil Tailgate Picnic!
The boyf and I are off to the Island to spend time with family
and enjoy the weekends festivities!
I'll be sure to take lots of pictures!

  5. Wow... I am soo jealous... I didn't know this festival existed, but now I have to say it's on my bucket list... daffodils are some of my favorite flowers in the whole world and you just can't grow them in central Texas... I'm hoping I'll be able to plant some in the Bay area this fall!

have a great time with all those daffodils!

  8. Holland, Michigan (a very small resort type town) has a tulip festival every year. I've never been but always wanted to go. This year, we are attending a wedding there May 8, which is during the festival! I can't wait!

I hope you two have a fun time! I just love Spring flowers!
