I am a big fan of Kim Kardashian, I think the whole family is hysterical and my guilty pleasure is totally watching Keeping Up With The Kardashian's every Sunday night! However, I don't know how I feel about Kim coming out with her own fragrance? I feel like every other celebrity these days feels the need to create a perfume. Well, I happened to be in Sephora the other day and I tested out her signature scent and was pleasantly surprised! I just couldn't bring myself to buy a bottle though -- it felt cheesy for some reason? What is your take on her new fragrance?

ReplyDeleteI generally don't like celeb fragrances either... but I fell in love with the SJP Lovely a few years ago and now it is my signature scent. If you like it, I say go for it!

ReplyDeleteI am right there with you, so over celebrity fragrance's. And most of them don't even smell good, I about gagged when I smelled Mariah's and don't even get me started on Paris Hilton's...yuck!
I am obsessed with KK, I think she is gorgeous and I cannot stop staring at her when she is on tv or in mags....but I doubt I will buy her fragrance!
i JUST smelled a sample in a magazine this week and LOVED it!!! i think it's a great scent! not fruity at all! :)

I would by it if I really loved the smell... However, the amount of photoshopping in her print ad makes me want to change my mind. Kim has a great body, but she is just not that teeny tiny!
ReplyDeleteI meant to add that one of the things I've always admired about her is that she accepts her body type... it's nice to see a woman not on the rachel zoe, kate hudson super thin train...
ReplyDeletei feel the exact same way! i love the show, love kim's style, but would feel a little ridiculous wearing her perfume. i'll pass on the perfume, but continue to follow the fabulously funny family and their amazing fashion sense!

ReplyDeleteoooh I saw this ad in my Glamour and totally thought it was a new JLo fragrance!!! until I read it. Doesn't she look like her? I love them both, but I think I'll stick to my Chanel fragrances for now

ReplyDeleteI completely agree with you about the cheese factor. It kind of reminds me of all the Britney Spears perfumes I see in CVS. Doesn't scream luxury to me.

ReplyDeleteHave a couple of celebrity scents I love: J Lo and SJP's Lovely. I tested KK the other day and thought it was a little heavy and over-bearing.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean, I have the same issue with Jessica Simpson's Fancy, I love the smell but can't buy it. Keeping Up with the Kardashian's is my guilty little secret as well!
