Hey Everyone!
Hope you all had a tres fab weekend! Mine was fun filled and went by way to fast! Friday night I went to the movies with bff CVS and saw My Sisters Keeper, I was VERY disappointed. My Sisters Keeper by Jodi Picoult is one of my all time fav reads, I have wrote a huge ethics paper on it in college! The book just did not translate well into the film!
Saturday was finally a nice day here in Boston, so the Boyf (MMB) & I took a long walk and enjoyed the day outside, and then went on a romantical dinner at Petit Robert, so yummy! We then met up with BFF BAG and co and continued our fun night out on the town. We all met up at the Lansdowne Pub, it was fun times and the band was amazing. For all of you who live in Boston, you need to check out this bar!
Finally, Sunday ended with Brunch at Eastern Standard with my new Boston pal MEL, some of you will remember her from her guest posts here on Monograms & Martinis!
Brunch was delish!
MMB (the boyf) and I out on Saturday Night!
Now I am off to finish a final paper for lit class, can't believe I am almost done with my first class of Grad School!
xoxo KAG
PS!! All you Boston Bloggers/Followers, I am looking to plan a meet up here in Beantown?! Let me know if you are interested!

I live in Boston (originally from TN but lived in NYC for a couple of years) and would love to meet up sometime! Just let me know when and where!
ReplyDeleteI'd possibly be interested in a Boston Bloggers/Followers meet-up!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure I want to see the movie. The book is on my list of reads and I think I'll keep it at that.
ReplyDeleteJust signed up for your KAG Snail Mail. Would you be OK with my kidnapping that idea for my blog?
Sounds like you had a great weekend. Sorry the movie didn't live up to the book. The pub you went to and brunch sound like fun!
ReplyDeleteLove the location links. Am sending them to my son who is an RA of a dorm this summer. They have regular outings around the town for those staying to do research. Keep 'em coming. :)
ReplyDeleteLove Eastern Standard, they serve one of my favorite burgers in Boston. A Beantown Blogger meet-up would be fab!
ReplyDeleteI need to read the book before I see the movie, I have it reserved for me at the library!
ReplyDeleteaww, I'm sorry to hear the movie didn't live up to your expectations. I wanted to see it too!

I read a review that they changed the book's ending to adapt it for the big screen, I hate it when they do that.
ReplyDeleteLove the idea of a Boston blogger meet-up :)
I LOVED My Sister's Keeper (the book) I've been a little nervous about the movie!
ReplyDeleteI wanted to see the movie but after hearing all the bad reviews I think I'm going to stick to the book instead...I would LOVE a Boston meet up!!
ReplyDeleteLove your picture! What beautiful children you will have! :)
ReplyDeleteI think I may pass on the movie but read the book since everyone raves about it!
